QuestionIf we already sent in an audition do we still need to email you guys about being an extra?
Hello, please do yes if that’s ok. We’re asking for specific info and need to know you are interested in being an extra rather than main cast. Thanks

QuestionHi Have you got the extras lined up for you film? If not maybe us kickstarters could fulfill the sitting in the background in cafes type roles? Just an idea but it would be a great way to be involved and to able to see the process first hand. Thank you.
Hello, we don’t have all extras lined up no. We will certainly be calling on facebook friends, twitter followers, mailing lists and our kickstarters when we need people so yes, there should be lots of opportunity to get involved.

QuestionThis is probably a stupid idea, but has Stuart tried asking contacts that he has in the film world/"famous" B&S fans? like Carey Mulligan, Zooey Deschanel, movies that have used B&S songs (e.g., Juno)...maybe they would have some investor leads?
it’s not a stupid idea at all.. the producers are doing the looking, but the thing is that everyone in the creative world is trying to make projects, so everyone is constantly looking for finance. that’s fair enough, that’s how it works.
we’re actually doing really good considering we don’t have a ‘studio’ or a broadcaster backing us. in essence, everyone that chipped into the kickstarter scheme formed an unofficial company. we just need another reasonable investor to come along so we can film it the way we want to.
i’m completely confidant that we’ll get there. it might just mean that we’re forced to be super critical of the present script, and we’re forced to shoot nothing that won’t finally appear. and that’s not a bad thing perhaps. (no dvd extras!)

QuestionOn the budget page, it says you've got approx 1mil and you're aiming for 3mil...is this still the case?
No, we should update that, we have about 70% of what we want to make the film. We can go with this amount but we’ll be cutting scenes which we’d dearly love not to do.
Stuart “just to clarify,£3m seems long time ago! We’ve been working toward £1.9m. We have £1.2m, and we think we’ll do just fine with around £1.6m!”
