Illustrations - 10/07/2011
Some of you may be noticing the new illustrations adorning the website; these were drawn by Stockholm based illustrator Graham Samuels, you can check out more of his work here.
Stuart and Graham recently travelled Glasgow looking at locations, breaking down the key scenes of the film, and making rough drawings of each. Graham is also developing graphic novel sequences charting the back stories of the main characters of the film.
Look out for a new section of the website showing more artwork and some thoughts from Stuart on the storyboarding process and the graphic novel.
Casting Update - 08/06/2011
Stuart and Caroline Stewart of Kahleen Crawford Casting did sessions with candidates for Eve, James and Cassie in London and Glasgow in June.
We’re also receiving a steady stream of self-tapes from all over the world. The standard has been extremely high and we already have some great candidates. Overall, we are very grateful for people’s interest and the great energy they’ve put into the process.
Still, we’re continuing to put the word out to everyone who might be interested in the hope they will find a way to let us see and hear what they can do with the roles. That’s where you come in! We’d love to hear who you think would be ideal and to turn us on to great people we might not otherwise think of. We are wide open too, we do not need established stars. Feel free to suggest people and comment here casting section

“Baby You’re Blind” – the third God Help The Girl single will be released by Rough Trade on Monday 24th May.

The 7″ also features a new version of ‘A Down and Dusky Blonde’ with lead vocals by Dina Bankole.
Both tracks will also be available to buy digitally via this website, and will be bundled with the artwork and video for ‘Baby You’re Blind,’ which was filmed in Stockholm in January of this year.
